Have you been living under a rock Mr. DeNiro? How is it possible that you know nothing about Robert Pattinson and Co?
Given that Twilight is just about the biggest deal since Wonderbread (thanks, mostly to hunks like Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), you would assume that just about everyone on the planet has had some experience or other with the vampire flick. But not Robert DeNiro, oh no.
The 66-year-old acting legend was simply stumped when HollywoodLife.com asked him what we thought about the Twilight craze. “The what?” Robert asked Feb. 17 at the AARP’S Ninth Annual Movies For Grownups Gala. He added, laughing, “”Never seen it, don’t tell anybody!”
Ok. Fair enough…a teenage vampire/human love story probably isn’t Bobby’s speed. But say a part WAS offered to him, would he be willing to go toe-to-toe with the ‘Twilight’ cast? “Maybe.” So which role could he tackle? As he’s never heard of the film, it’s only natural he’d respond, “I don’t know, you tell me.”
You’re giving us options here, Bobby! The possibilities are endless (OK, not really – they’re down to werewolves, humans and vampires). “Ehhhh, sure! Whatever!”
Although he doesn’t seem to be all THAT interested, we hope this inspires Robert to see
I love that Robert DeNiro knows nothing about the Twilight Saga. I want to keep Bobby pure!!!
